Design and fabrication support of 9 different Mobile Training Units (MTUs) for more than 26 different disciplines offered by TAFE across regional and remote NSW.
Training units were broken down into two categories, specialist and storage units. Specialist MTUs were designed with permanently fitted educational equipment for training delivery from within the unit, such as fully equipped commercial kitchens and hair and beauty salons, to welding and working within confined spaces. More adaptable and rugged Storage MTUs were also designed to allow for the transport of everchanging educational equipment required to support the diverse range of courses on offer between multiple TAFE training locations.
Working with such a large organization involved collaboration with numerous head teachers across multiple NSW regions and disciplined management to satisfy all stakeholders groups.
