Sono Eye is looking to replace needle injections to the eye by delivering select drugs through ultrasonic stimulation. This unique approach of suspending a drug within a gel pad and then delivering it to the intended target within the eye via ultrasonic stimulation was developed by Seagull Technologies and UTS. Design Momentum were asked to design and fabricate initial trial prototypes for the testing and validation of this new technology.
